Ajia Munns originates from Cleveland, Ohio, was raised in Dallas with Texas size dreams, and now calls Los Angeles home (because, let’s face it, who can resist the year-round sunshine and creative energy?) A Psychology enthusiast from the University of Houston, she honed her craft in the arts by completing the esteemed two-year Meisner program at the Ruskin School of Acting in Santa Monica, CA. As the visionary owner and CEO of Geminae Productions, Ajia made her mark in 2018 with her debut independent web series If I Knew You Were Coming, followed by the release of her first film, The Last Hero, in 2020.
In October 2024, she debuted as an author with StarLight: When Our Love Becomes More, a book that has quickly earned praise for its warmth and its ability to unite and heal through the art of storytelling. Known for her engaging narratives, Ajia’s work touches hearts and builds connections, offering a sense of solace in today’s fast-paced world.
Beyond the page and screen, Ajia has spent over a decade immersed in the mindfulness space. A true nurturer at heart, she uses this practice to uplift and empower others, believing that the intersection of arts and mental wellness is key to strengthening our communities. Currently, she’s bringing mindfulness practices to schools across Los Angeles, enriching the minds of young students while fostering resilience and emotional intelligence.
